I contacted American primarily due to all the good reviews I saw, I’m glad I did! We had some other companies come in and give us quotes for a furnace and AC that both needed to replace and he came in much cheaper. The quality of the installation was top notch and the installers were very friendly and professional. I appreciated how Steve did a walk through of the house before the install to determine the best plan to get everything in so walls/furniture didn’t get banged up. I also appreciate how the installers took a decent amount of time for clean-up and how knowledgeable they were with the different components of the installation/unit. We didn’t have to do much after the install other than move some furniture back into place.

As others have said, Steve (the owner) delivers. He answered my calls and helped us decide which system was best for us. His prices were less than other bids we received. His crew was professional and pleasant. They cleaned up and were done in one day. They even helped with a drain backup in the area where they were working. They installed an additional vent in a room that has never been the right temperature, and I wish we’d done that 20 years ago. We are pleased with the results and can recommend Steve (American HVAC) to others. (Only downside…our new AC is loud when we have the fan on to circulate the air, and we are surprised by that.)

We first heard about American HVAC through the KSL adds. To be honest the reviews were almost too good to be true, but we had an EXCELLENT experience from beginning to end and the service Steve and his team provided was FIRST CLASS. I work for a large local general contactor so when my A/C broke down I met with and received quotes from several different HVAC companies. Steve came to our home and sat down with me and my wife to discuss a number of different options. I had lots of questions to ensure I was getting the best system for my needs and Steve really took the time and extra phone calls to work through this with me. I never felt pressured and in the end he delivered exactly as he said for the price he promised. His install team was awesome and very professional. I would definitely use American HVAC again and will recommend them all day long to any one looking for a good company.

Came across American HVAC on KSL, my furnace had stopped working, so my A/C was not working. Steve came over on Sunday to look things over and made sure what I wanted to do would work for my size home. The price was very fair compared to other quotes I received. His crew came out the following Friday to install a new 98% efficient furnace and a new A/C unit. They protected my floors and had the news units up and running in about 5 hours. When they left they put back the things they had to move and cleaned up their work area. Steve and his crew get a A+ for the work they did and I would recommend them for your HVAC needs.

I was impressed with Steve and his team for the following reasons. 1. He was quick to come out and bid a new furnace and A/C 2. His price was quite fair 3. He was NOT pushy, and he was good to answer ALL of my questions 4. He stuck to his bid even when problems arose on my end and he had to spend more time and effort getting it installed. 5. He removed my swamp cooler and hauled it away for free. Overall it was a positive experience. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

We had our condenser fail on us and I called Steve and he came out within 24 hours and gave me three different price options. We chose the better system and had a new condenser and evaporative coil installed. The price was very reasonable. Steve and his team came out and installed the system when they said they would and for the exact quote amount. I’m very impressed and pleased with the work that Steve and his team did. His staff was clean and friendly. My home stays much cooler now. Thank you American HVAC! You can trust these guys!
